Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a condolence message to the family of Arsen Chakaryan, member of the French Resistance Movement and member of the Misak Manushian group. The message reads in part:
“I was deeply grieved to learn about the demise of Arsen Chakaryan, member of the French Resistance Movement and member of the Misak Manushian group.
Being a survivor of the Armenian Genocide, Arsen Chakaryan, who found his second home in hospitable France, devoted his life to the struggle for the duty of memory, freedom and justice.
Arsen Chakaryan’s demise is a great loss for both the Armenian and the French peoples.
I express my sincere condolences to his family and friends.”
