Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a condolence message to President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in connection with the crash of a passenger plane near Almaty. The message reads, in part:

“I was deeply saddened to learn of a passenger plane’s tragic crash near Almaty.

On behalf of the Armenian people and on my own behalf, I express sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims and wish those injured a speedy recovery.”
