It is with deep sadness that I learned of the passing of renowned philanthropist and entrepreneur Hirair Hovnanian.

Invaluable is the role of Mr. Hovnanian in the development and construction of Armenia and Artsakh. He will always be remembered by our people for his patriotic activities both as an entrepreneur and a philanthropist.

Dozens of projects have been implemented through Mr. Hovnanian’s efforts, including the rehabilitation of the disaster zone, construction of the Goris-Stepanakert highway, the launch of the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, the tackling of socio-economic problems in the Homeland and the promotion of Armenia’s and Artsakh’s interests abroad

The renowned benefactor will be remembered as a worthy son of the Armenian people, who did everything to bring progress and development to the Motherland.

I hereby extend my deepest condolences to Mr. Hovnanian’s family, friends, colleagues and all Armenians worldwide.
