Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a condolence message to the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh on the occasion of death of Nguyễn Phú Trọng, Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The condolence message reads as follows,

"It was with deep grief that I learned about the death of Nguyễn Phú Trọng, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Mr. Nguyễn Phú Trọng has invested a lot of effort in the strengthening and prosperity of Vietnam. I am sure that his good name and memory will remain bright in people's memories.

On behalf of the Armenian people and the government of the Republic of Armenia, I express my deepest condolences and solidarity to you and the friendly people of Vietnam, wishing you patience and spiritual strength."
