Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a condolence message in connection with the death of Zaven Khanjian, Executive Director of the Armenian Missionary Association of America. The message reads as follows,

"I was deeply saddened to learn about the death of Zaven Khanjian, executive director of the Armenian Missionary Association of America.

The Armenian people lost one of their worthy representatives, who dedicated his life to the preservation of Armenian education and culture, was active in American-Armenian community life.

During the last ten years, Zaven Khanjian, assuming the position of Executive Director of the Association, continued his fruitful activity in the direction of strengthening Armenia-Diaspora relations, and also contributed to many social, educational and cultural programs in Armenia.

At this difficult moment, I express my solidarity with Mr. Khanjian's family, relatives, colleagues, and all members of the Armenian Missionary Association of America."
