Prime Minister Andrej Babiš of the Czech Republic congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on his election as Prime Minister of Armenia and wished him every success in that responsible position. The message runs as follows:

Recent events bear the testimony to the strong democratic spirit of the Armenian people. I am convinced that, despite many current challenges, your tenure as the Prime Minister will contribute to the peaceful and free development of your country.

I would like to assure you that the Czech Republic stands ready to support any efforts from your side to strengthen democratic principles and institutions in Armenia and to assist you in the reform process.
