Georgian Premier Mamuka Bhatadze has sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the occasion of First Republic Day.

“It is noteworthy that over a century ago, Georgia and Armenia almost simultaneously laid the foundations of modern democratic states, which continue to develop and strengthen successfully.

I am glad that during your visit to Tbilisi last year we celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Independence of the First Republic of Armenia. I wish to thank you for your contribution to the friendship and close cooperation between our countries.

I hope our sincere dialogue and the exchange of experience will help us deepen the centuries-old friendship and good neighborly relations between Georgia and Armenia, develop new dynamic relationships and promote peace in our region.

Your Excellency, I once again assure you of my deepest respect and wish you successful activities on the way to reform, development and progress,” the message reads.
