Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi on India’s Independence Day.

“Please accept my warmest congratulations on the Independence Day of the Republic of India.

I am pleased to note that since the establishment of diplomatic relations we have been able to build strong partnerships between Armenia and India. Armenia is keen to strengthen and expand multilevel cooperation with India.

I am convinced that through joint efforts we will give new impetus to the centuries-old partnership between Armenia and India to the benefit of our two nations.

Excellency, I wish you good health and every success, as well as prosperity and peace - to the friendly people of India,” the message reads.
