Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine on the occasion of Independence Day of Ukraine. The message reads:

“Dear Mr. President,

Please accept my warmest congratulations and sincere wishes on the occasion of the national holiday of Ukraine - Independence Day.

I am convinced that through consistent efforts you will be able to implement all the programs aimed at developing and strengthening Ukraine.

The friendly relations between Armenia and Ukraine have significant development potential that needs to be tapped to the best interest of our two peoples. I am convinced that through joint efforts we can impart a new quality to the multifaceted Armenian-Ukrainian cooperation. In this regard, I also consider it important to resume the work of the bilateral intergovernmental commission.

The availability of a large Armenian community in Ukraine and the activities of the vibrant Ukrainian community in Armenia may help deepen the strong bonds of friendship between our two countries.

Dear Mr. Zelensky, I wish you every success in all your initiatives, as well as peace and prosperity - to the friendly people of Ukraine.”
