Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to President of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic Mario Draghi on the occasion of Republic Day.

The message reads, in part:

“I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of Italy on your country’s national holiday - Republic Day.

Our two peoples’ historical affinities and the centuries-old cultural ties provide a solid groundwork for developing multifaceted interstate relations. Prioritizing the importance of maintaining a high-level dialogue with Italy, based on reciprocated trust and respect, I hope that through joint efforts we can further strengthen the ongoing mutually beneficial cooperation.

I wish your government every success and many achievements, as well as wellbeing and prosperity - to the brotherly people of Italy.”
