Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the Catholicos Patriarch of Cilicia of Armenian Catholics Raphaël Archbishop Minassian. The message particularly states,

I cordially congratulate you on the occasion of being elected the 21st Catholicos Patriarch of Cilicia of Armenian Catholics.

The role of the Patriarchate of Cilicia in strengthening the spiritual values of our people, preserving the national identity and cultural heritage is significant.

I am confident that during your enthronement, the Patriarchate of Cilicia will continue to make every effort for overcoming the numerous problems facing all Armenians.

The Government of the Republic of Armenia, in its turn, will also support you in these and other God-pleasing initiatives.

I wish you good health and success in your high spiritual mission’’.
