Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Day of National Minorities of the Republic of Armenia, where he particularly notes,

"Dear representatives of the national minorities of Armenia,
Dear compatriots,

In accordance with the legislative amendment adopted by the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on March 3, 2021, a new holiday appeared in the Law of the Republic of Armenia on "Holidays and Remembrance Days" - the Day of National Minorities of the Republic of Armenia, which is celebrated on the first Sunday of October.

The national minorities of Armenia are a part of the peoples of the world within our population, they have brought the unique behavior of their national identity, culture and way of life to our country, become loyal citizens of this country, sharing our difficult and happy days.

By preserving and developing your language, national, spiritualvalues and culture, you are also enriching the cultural diversity of Armenia.

I congratulate the representatives of all national minorities of Armenia on this holiday, wishing them good health, peace, progress and success"․
