Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of Australia Scott Morrison on the occasion of the country's National Day. The message reads as follows,

“Your Excellency,

Congratulations on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and on my own behalf. I extend my best wishes to you, the Government and people of Australia on the occasion of the national holiday, Australia Day.

I would like to note with satisfaction that the interstate friendly relations established between Armenia and Australia 30 years ago have had a stable course over the past years, bilateral interactions have intensified, and cooperation in the international arena has expanded. The Armenians of Australia, who are a unique cultural bridge in the Armenian-Australian interpersonal exchanges, also contributed to the strengthening of the Armenian-Australian ties.

I am confident that the cooperation between Armenia and Australia will develop and expand in the future for the benefit of our peoples.

Taking this opportunity, I wish you good health and new success, and prosperity and peace to the friendly people of Australia.
