Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden, Ulf Kristersson on taking office. The message, in particular, says:

“I would like to express to you my warmest congratulations and my best wishes on taking up the position of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Sweden.

Armenia attaches great importance to the further strengthening of friendly relations with Sweden. I am convinced that the Armenian-Swedish cooperation, based on common values and mutual interests, will continue to develop in both bilateral and multilateral formats, including within the framework of the European Union.

I am hopeful that through joint efforts we can expand our bilateral agenda and implement new future-oriented initiatives.

You are assuming your office in a period of complex geopolitical processes, when political leaders are required to exercise the utmost perseverance and prudence to withstand the existing challenges. I am confident that you will lead Sweden through the path of development and prosperity.
