Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the newly elected President of the Federal Republic of Brazil Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.

On behalf of the Republic of Armenia and myself, I extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to you on your election as the President of the Federal Republic of Brazil.

Armenia attaches great importance to the further development and deepening of relations with friendly Brazil in all areas of mutual interest.

I am confident that the relations between our countries, based on mutual sympathy, will continue to deepen and strengthen with joint efforts at the bilateral and multilateral levels for the benefit of our states and peoples.
