Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Romanian Prime Minister Ion-Marcel Ciolacu on the occasion of his election to the post of Prime Minister. The congratulatory message reads as follows,

"On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and myself, I heartily congratulate you on your election to the post of Prime Minister of Romania, wishing you endless energy and continued achievements.

Armenia attaches great importance to the development of cooperation with Romania on both bilateral and multilateral platforms, especially within the framework of the EU and in the field of communication.

I express my willingness to work with you for the further expansion and deepening of cooperation between our two friendly countries.

I am confident that your tenure will be marked by the development of interstate relations and multi-sector cooperation based on common values, cultural closeness and strong historical friendship between our two countries, one of the important contributing factors to which is the Romanian-Armenian community bridging us."
