Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Portuguese Prime Minister Luís Montenegro on the occasion of his appointment. The message reads as follows,

"On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and myself, I warmly congratulate you on your appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Portugal, wishing you success in this responsible mission.

Armenia attaches great importance to the continuous development and deepening of relations with friendly Portugal.

I am sure that through joint efforts, the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries will be further expanded and strengthened both on bilateral and multilateral platforms, especially within the framework of the Armenia-EU partnership, for the benefit of our countries and peoples.
