Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Italy Giorgia Meloni on the occasion of the national holiday. The message states:

"On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and myself, I warmly congratulate you and the friendly people of Italy on the occasion of the national holiday, the Republic Day.

The relations between Armenia and Italy, based on close historical interactions and a common value system, are developing in the spirit of partnership and mutual trust, distinguished by high-level political dialogue, increasing bilateral economic activity, and the rise of cultural and scientific-educational interaction.

We emphasize cooperation with Italy both on bilateral and multilateral platforms, including within the framework of the Armenia-EU partnership.

Armenia has always attached special importance to strengthening our friendly relations and supplementing them with new initiatives and programs. I am confident that with joint efforts we will be able to advance our cooperation in all fields.

I sincerely hope that in the foreseeable future we will have an opportunity to meet and discuss issues of mutual interest, to outline new prospects for bilateral cooperation.
