Nikol Pashinyan sends congratulatory message to the newly appointed Prime Minister of France
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Michel Barnier on the occasion of his appointment as the Prime Minister of the French Republic. The message says:
"Dear Mr. Prime Minister,
Please accept my warmest congratulations on being appointed as the Prime Minister of the French Republic.
I am confident that the rich experience and knowledge acquired during your long-term professional activity and important political and diplomatic path will serve the friendly France and the French people in the best way.
I am committed to contribute to the expansion of the Armenia-France multi-sectoral agenda and the implementation of new ambitious programs, including in the field of economic cooperation.
I am sure that our Governments will continue to cooperate closely for the sake of deepening the thousand-year strong friendship of the Armenian and French peoples and the development of the special relations established between our two states, in which you personally played a great and symbolic role. One of the best examples of this is the official opening of the diplomatic representation of France in Armenia.
I highly appreciate your continued attention to issues related to Armenia. We remember with great appreciation your visit to Armenia during difficult times for our country and the solidarity you showed to the Armenian people.
Taking this opportunity, I would like to emphasize that we highly value the consistent efforts of France in establishing security, just and lasting peace in the region.
I look forward to your official visit to Armenia in the near future, which will be an excellent opportunity for discussions on expanding the developing cooperation between Armenia and France and outlining new programs.
Once again, I congratulate you on assuming the post of Prime Minister, wishing you success in the implementation of your high mission."
