Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani, on the occasion of the national holiday, Independence Day. The message says:

"I send warm congratulations and sincere best wishes to you and the friendly people of Iraq on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Iraq.

I am happy to report that recently the political dialogue between Armenia and Iraq has risen to a qualitatively new level. On this occasion, I attach special importance to the meetings I had with you within the framework of international conferences.

I am sure that between our two friendly states there is a huge potential for substantial multi-sectoral cooperation, and with our joint efforts we will be able to contribute to the full realization of this potential, especially in the trade, economic, scientific, educational and cultural spheres, for the benefit of our states and peoples.

I wish you good health and happiness, and lasting peace and prosperity to the friendly people of the Republic of Iraq."
