Accompanied by his spouse Anna Hakobyan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan traveled to Syunik Marz of Armenia, where he attended Sparapet Day-dated festivities in Khndzoresk community.
Nikol Pashinyan’s visit kicked off at the tomb of Mkhitar Sparapet. The Premier first laid a wreath in tribute of Sparapet’s memory, after which he attended 15 new-recruits’ oath-taking ceremony: Sparapet’s speech was read out, and the national anthem of the Republic of Armenia was played during the event.
“Dear conscripts of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, I am congratulating you on taking the military oath,” the Premier said in his greeting remarks, after which he shook hands with the new-recruits and conveyed his best wishes to their parents.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Mrs. Anna Hakobyan next walked along the swinging bridge in Khndzoresk and watched musical performances held on the occasion of Sparapet Day. Afterwards, Nikol Pashinyan and Anna Hakobyan visited the municipality of Khndzoresk village, where the locals greeted them with applause.
The Prime Minister and his spouse talked to Khndzoresk residents and, taking the opportunity, congratulated them on Sparapet Day. Nikol Pashinyan laid flowers at the memorial, which commemorates the Artsakh War victims and those perished in the Great Patriotic War. Prime Minister Pashinyan also called at the exhibition held in Khndzoresk as part of Sparapet Day celebrations, where he got acquainted with the products on display.
