Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited Lori region. The Prime Minister visited the schools of the settlements where various problems and deficiencies were recorded.
During the previous visit, Nikol Pashinyan had instructed the officials to eliminate the defects and carry out the works in accordance with the established standards.
The Prime Minister's first stop was at Medovka secondary school. Nikol Pashinyan toured the newly built school and familiarized himself with the conditions created for the students. Construction works of the school started in November 2020. The total cost of the project is 860 million 153 thousand AMD.
Next, the Prime Minister visited a number of schools in the region, where new sports halls were built.
The construction works of the new gymnasium of Stepanavan N 1 school started on May 30, 2022. The area of the gymnasium is 270 square meters. The total cost of the project is 178 million AMD.
The reconstruction works of the gymnasium of Vanadzor Ghevond Alishan primary school N 27 started in June 2022. The internal surface of the gymnasium is 276 square meters. The total cost of the project is 89.8 million drams.
The construction works of the new gymnasium of Vanadzor Admiral Isakov Primary School No. 23 started in 2022. in June. The area of the gymnasium is 336 square meters. The total cost of the project is 256.8 million AMD.
The Prime Minister positively assessed the implemented corrections, but at the same time emphasized the need for high-quality implementation of construction works, adding that low-quality work will not be accepted.
Next, the Prime Minister got acquainted with the reconstruction works carried out on the 3.9 km long Demirchyan Street in Vanadzor. The government allocated 930 million AMD for the implementation of the project.
Nikol Pashinyan visited the farm and slaughterhouse of "Hakob Karapetyan" LLC in Spitak, got acquainted with the investment program and the company's activities. The leaders of the latter noted that the farm has 350 head of cattle, and the slaughterhouse also provides services to other farms in the region. The Prime Minister welcomed the activity of the company and expressed the readiness of the government to support its development.
In Stepanavan, the Prime Minister laid flowers at the monument dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Great Patriotic War and at the monument dedicated to the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the homeland in Vanadzor.
The last stop of the Prime Minister in Lori region was on the Spitak-Vanadzor road section, where major repair works have started on a 11 km section. The cost of the project is 3 billion 153 million AMD. The works are expected to be completed in November this year.
