The Prime Minister gets acquainted with the programs implemented in 2023 and currently in progress in Armavir region

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited Armavir region, got acquainted with the programs implemented in 2023 and currently in progress.

The first stop of the Prime Minister was in Parakar, where he got acquainted with the construction works of Parakar secondary school. The total cost of the project is AMD 1 billion. As a result of the implementation of the project, the Parakar settlement will have a new school designed for 576 students. The school is included in the list of the government's "300 schools to be built, repaired or reconstructed until 2026" program.

The head of the government then visited the Vagharshapat territorial center of the Unified Social Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the construction of which started in February 2022 and will end in March 2023. The total cost of the project is 250 million AMD. The population of the zone of service is about 150,000 people. During the tour, the Prime Minister got acquainted with the services provided to the citizens.

Nikol Pashinyan's next stop was in the city of Etchmiadzin, where he was presented with the progress of the renovation works of the kindergarten No 4. It was emphasized that the total cost of the project is 270 million AMD, of which 189 million AMD was allocated by the Government. According to the decision of the Executive, another 70 million AMD was allocated to the staff of the regional administration of Armavir to provide the kindergarten with property and equipment. The kindergarten under renovation is designed for 174 children.

Within the scope of the visit, the Prime Minister was also presented with the works carried out in the "Zvartnots" historical and cultural museum-reservation. The roof of the museum building was overhauled. Restoration works of the museum's intra-territorial pavement tiles and external lighting were carried out. The sidewalks from the entrance to the museum area have been paved, exterior lighting has also been installed. The Government allocated AMD 86 million for the above-mentioned works.

In the framework of the regional visit, the investment plans of the "Agro Management" company were presented to the Head of the Government: vineyards, wine production, tourism and greenhouse economy. The total cost of the project is around 1 billion AMD. The company has benefited from the interest rate subsidy programs for intensive horticulture, agri-food equipment leasing support, agricultural machinery leasing support and agricultural raw material procurement (purchase) programs. As a result, intensive orchards of 5.5 ha of grapes and 2.5 ha of fruit orchards were established, "Alluria Wines" are produced from Armenian endemic grape varieties. "Alluria" wine house was built for the organization of tourist events. An 8,400 square meter greenhouse with the latest technologies was built, where chili peppers are grown this year.

The works of construction of the kindergarten of the settlement were presented to the Prime Minister. The total cost of the project is 291 million AMD. As a result, the settlement will have a newly built kindergarten which will be attended by 50 children.

In Araks and Metsamor settlements of Araks community, Nikol Pashinyan got acquainted with the construction of a gas pipeline feeding the settlements. The total cost of the works carried out within the framework of the subsidy program is 556 million AMD, of which 361 million AMD was provided by the Government. As a result of the project, 12,542 m of gas pipeline will be built and the community will have two settlements with full access to gas.

The next stop of the Prime Minister was at the "Margara" customs point, where he was presented with the modernization works of the customs point and the created working conditions. The total cost of the project is 1 billion AMD.

In Aygeshat settlement, the Head of the Government got acquainted with the asphalting works of Yeritasardakan and Mayisyan streets. The total cost of the works implemented under the subsidy program is 82 million AMD, of which 28 million AMD were allocated from the state budget. The total length of the road is 0.8 km. Construction works are in progress. In the same settlement, Nikol Pashinyan got acquainted with the repair process of the kindergarten. The total cost of the works implemented under the subsidy program is 51 million AMD, of which 35 million AMD was provided by the Government. The kindergarten is designed for 90 children. Repair works will be completed in the fall.

The next project implemented in the region, which was presented to the Prime Minister, is the overhaul of the 7.3 km road section T-3-44, /M-5/ - Tsiatsan - Aghavnatun – Lernamerdz. The total cost of the project is 784 million AMD.

The Head of the Government was also presented with the works of the major repair and restoration of the drainage system of the 5.62 km right-hand and left-hand sections of the M-5, Yerevan - Armavir - border of the Republic of Armenia interstate road. The total cost of the project is 1 billion AMD.

As part of his visit to Armavir, Nikol Pashinyan was also presented with utility equipment provided by the Government of Metsamor community. The total cost of the project is 512 million AMD. 2 multi-purpose excavators, 1 grader, salt and sand spreader, sweeper and sprinkler multi-purpose vehicle, 2 trucks, 1 sewer cleaning vehicle (tractor), 1 garbage collection vehicle, 150 trash cans were acquired. It was emphasized that in the near future, 1 sewer cleaning machine and 1 garbage collection machine will be purchased as part of the project. Thanks to the project, the quality and availability of utility services provided by the municipality have improved.

In Metsamor, the Prime Minister got acquainted with the renovation works aimed at turning the former polyclinic building of the community into the administrative building of the community hall. The cost of the subsidy program is 252 million AMD, of which 88 million AMD was allocated by the government. As a result, the Metsamor community has an administrative building with new and comfortable offices.

In the Lernagog settlement, the Head of the Government got acquainted with the construction works of 14 private houses and a new kindergarten being built by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund for families forcibly displaced from Nagorno Karabakh. The total cost of the project is 719 million AMD. By the government's decision, 33 million AMD was allocated to the regional administration of Armavir to provide the kindergarten with property and equipment.

In the same settlement, Nikol Pashinyan was presented with the investment program of the 60 MW solar plant of the "Power Solar" company, the total cost of which was 12.3 billion AMD. The plant will produce 120 mln. kilowatts of green energy annually, which will be realized in the liberalized electricity market. The station provides 40-50 jobs made up of community residents. The investment program was also supported by the interest rate subsidy program adopted by the government.

In the village of Khanjyan, the Prime Minister got acquainted with the works of the fundamental repair of the kindergarten. The total cost of the works implemented under the subsidy program is 387 million AMD, of which 271 million AMD was provided by the Government. According to the decision of the government, 32 million AMD was allocated to the staff of the governor of Armavir to provide the kindergarten with property and equipment. The kindergarten is designed for 90 children.

Within the framework of the working visit, the progress of the overhaul of the 1.7 km section of the T-3-61, /M-5/ (Norapat) - /H-17/ road (from the end of Amavir to Norapat) was presented to the Head of the Government. It was noted that the total cost of the project is 447 million AMD. The works are in the final stage.

In Aygevan settlement Nikol Pashinyan was presented with the construction works of a "Modular" type nursery-kindergarten with a capacity of 144 places, which is in the final stage. The Government allocated AMD 848 million for the project.

In the village of Araks, the Prime Minister also got acquainted with the works on the major repair of the kindergarten. The total cost of the works implemented under the subsidy program is 279 million AMD, of which 195 million AMD was allocated from the state budget. By the decision of the government, 5 million AMD was allocated to the staff of the governor of Armavir to provide the kindergarten with property and equipment. The renovated kindergarten is designed for 120 children. Repair works will be completed this year.

As part of the visit, Nikol Pashinyan got acquainted with the progress of the major repair of the 4.7 km section of the M-5, Yerevan - Armavir-Armenian border interstate road (from the Sardarapat memorial to the Armenian border, near Vanand village). The total cost of the project is 607 million AMD.

The next stop of the Head of the Government was in the orchard of "Almond Agro" company. With the investment program, a 100-hectare almond orchard with its own pool was established. The project was implemented within the framework of the government's "State support for the establishment of intensive orchards and orchards cultivated with modern technologies in the Republic of Armenia" program, which subsidizes loan interest rates.

The works of reconstruction of the secondary school gymnasium were presented to the Prime Minister in Pshatavan settlement. The total cost of the project is 205 million AMD. In the same settlement, Nikol Pashinyan got acquainted with the construction works of a "Modular" type nursery-kindergarten with a capacity of 144 places. The total cost of the project is 654 million AMD. The kindergarten is designed for 144 children.

Nikol Pashinyan and Mrs. Anna Hakobyan were also presented the reconstruction works of the central square fountain in the city of Armavir. The cost of the subsidy program is 169 million AMD, of which 50 million AMD was allocated by the government. As a result, the city has a reconstructed light and sound fountain with the state of the art solutions.
