Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin to meet with Supreme Spiritual Council and bishopric class annual meeting participants.
Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, His Holiness Karekin II first congratulated Prime Minister Pashinyan on his birthday and wished him every success for the sake of the Republic of Armenia and the Armenian people.
With reference to Armenia’s latest political developments, His Holiness Karekin II highlighted the fact of their peaceful settlement, stressing that as a result, the reputation of our country and people has been dramatically improved in the international arena. The Catholicos of All Armenians expressed conviction that the joint efforts of Armenia’s authorities, Church and people will help build a powerful, progressive country of well-being and prosperity.
Prime Minister Pashinyan thanked the Catholicos for his kind remarks and best wishes and went on to prioritize the discussion of the agenda issues. “Armenia’s political changes came with the motto of love and solidarity. Our task is to make that atmosphere permanent in Armenia and for the Armenian people,” Nikol Pashinyan said, stressing the need for shaping a creative environment in the country.
