Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Giovanni Rubini, chief executive officer of RENCO Italian Company. The meeting focused on the implementation of a new thermal power plant construction project at a site adjacent to the Yerevan TPP.

The Prime Minister stressed that the Armenian government is eager to attract investments and implement new projects, but it will never assume such commitments as may negatively impact the country’s energy security and tariff policy.

Nikol Pashinyan recommended the company executives to hold extensive discussions with Armenian government officials and expressed the hope that mutually beneficial solutions might be found for the project.
