Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received world-famous Polish composer and conductor Krzysztof Penderecki and his wife Elzbieta Penderecka. The famous musician is in Armenia to attend the final round of the 14th edition of Aram Khachaturian international contest.
Welcoming the guests, the Premier said he was glad to host them in Armenia where everyone likes and appreciates Krzysztof Penderecki and his art. Nikol Pashinyan expressed the hope that Maestro Penderecki would continue to strengthen the Armenian-Polish friendship and cultural ties with the same enthusiasm and devotion.
Krzysztof Penderecki noted that our country boasts many highly qualified orchestras and individual music performers. “It is a great pleasure and happiness for me and my wife to be in Armenia,” Krzysztof Penderecki said, highlighting the good organization and conduct of Aram Khachaturian international contest, which testifies that State attention is being paid to culture in Armenia.
