Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation representing the EKD, a German umbrella organization of Protestant, Lutheran and reformist churches, headed by EKD chairman Bishop Heinrich Bedford-Strohm.

The delegation arrived in Armenia at the invitation of the Catholicos of All Armenians, which was sent in October, 2017 during the visit of His Holiness to Germany on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of European Reformation.

The Premier welcomed the delegation’s visit to our country, as well as the strengthening of ties with the Armenian Apostolic Church and the deepening of inter-church cooperation.
