Accompanied by his spouse Anna Hakobyan and his daughters, Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan voted at polling station N 8/16.
As he answered journalists’ questions after voting, Nikol Pashinyan stated: “We have already reached our chief objective. We are having truly free, transparent and democratic elections. Our main goal was to achieve democracy and we succeeded. In the future, we will strengthen Armenian democracy in institutional terms.”
Nikol Pashinyan ruled out the possibility of directing citizens during the voting process, “Every time I met with the citizens of the Republic of Armenia, I said that no one could tell them who they were supposed to vote for,” Pashinyan said.
