Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today called at Zangak Publishing House, where he attended the presentation of the “Egypt’s Foreign Policy in the First Decade of President Hosni Mubarak’s Government (1981-1991) book,” authored by Candidate of Historical Sciences Gor Gevorgyan, a member of My Step parliamentary faction.
The presentation was attended by National Assembly members, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Armenia Bahaa El Din Bahgat Dessouki, as well as representatives of scientific community and students.
Gor Gevorgyan handed the first copy of his book to Prime Minister Pashinyan. Thanking Nikol Pashinyan for participating in the presentation of his book, Gor Gevorgyan said it was the evidence of Prime Minister’s thoughtfulness of literature and book reading, in general.
Among the keynote speakers were Deputy Chairman of NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Hovhannes Igityan, Director of the Armenian Institute of Oriental Studies Ruben Safrastyan, Dean of the YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies Ruben Melikyan, Zangak Publishing House Director Sokrat Mkrtchyan, and Head of the Arabic Studies Department at the Institute of Oriental Studies Lilit Haroutunyan.
