Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had working dinner with members of the Union of Businessmen and Industrialists of Armenia. Discussed were issues related to Armenia’s investment climate, legislative regulation and tax reforms. The interlocutors emphasized the importance of economic reforms carried out by the Government in a bid to improve the investment environment.
The entrepreneurs in attendance noted that a competitive business environment and free market relations have been created; economic monopolies have been eliminated in the country, and this may be the beginning of the proposed economic revolution. They expressed confidence that the new conditions will lead to economic activity and overall progress in the country.
With reference to the efficiency of investment programs and economic development, the meeting highlighted the maintenance of effective dialogue and feedback between the Government and the business community. During the working dinner, views were exchanged on economic development’s philosophy, the models and strategy of reforms.
