Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a congratulatory message to UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Conservative Party’s victory in the latest parliamentary elections.

“On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, I extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes on the overwhelming victory in elections and your re-appointment as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. I wish you fruitful work and ever new achievements.

I would like to reaffirm the interest and commitment of the Government of the Republic of Armenia to deepen cooperation with the United Kingdom in areas of mutual interest.

I am convinced that the reforms aimed at strengthening democratic institutions in Armenia and establishing the rule of law will open up new horizons for the Armenian-British cooperation,” the Prime Minister’s message reads.
