Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a consultative meeting to discuss proposals for revising the system of taxation of real estate in Armenia. Based on the results of the previous discussions held by the Prime Minister, the proposals affect the property tax rates for apartments, public and production facilities, garages and undeveloped land.
The assessment methodology and the possible impact of amended tax rates were touched upon during the meeting. Meant to improve the targeting of taxation, the proposals seek to set up an efficient system of real estate evaluation and taxation.
Summing up the results of the meetings held to that effect, the Premier told those responsible to discuss the proposals with the leaders and representatives of the relevant National Assembly commissions and finalize the draft.
