Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian.

The meeting focused on the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the course of action to take in order to expel the Azerbaijani troops that have crossed into Armenia’s sovereign territory and prevent further infringement on the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia.

The interlocutors shared views on Armenia’s position and the preconditions for implementing the delimitations and demarcations of borders. They pointed out that the conditions necessary for the launch of relevant discussions will not be created unless the above preconditions are met.
