Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today visited the Forensic Medical Research Center in Abovyan, Kotayk Marz. Nikol Pashinyan toured the center to inspect the working conditions.

Acting Healthcare Minister Anahit Avanesyan presented the activities aimed at modernizing the forensic medical centers in Abovyan and other cities of Armenia. She advised that improvements have been made to refrigeration and lab capacities. Services are being provided in accordance with the required forensic medical standards.

Clarifications were provided concerning the well-known footage published a few days ago at the Abovyan morgue. The dead bodies are now kept in the Martuni morgue in proper refrigeration conditions.

Nikol Pashinyan stressed that the Government will be consistent in implementing systemic reforms in this field, building the needed professional and working capacities. The Acting Premier instructed those responsible to keep the entire process in the spotlight.
