PM Pashinyan chairs consultation on works carried out in the direction of Haypost development and the forthcoming programs

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a consultation, during which the works carried out for the development of Haypost after 2020 and the forthcoming programs were discussed.

The officials in charge noted that the works were aimed at providing more comprehensive services compared to just postal services. During the reporting period, the model of an exemplary department was created, 26 post offices were renovated, unified public service offices were opened in Ijevan, Gyumri, and in the near future it will be opened in Vanadzor as well.

The technical equipment of the Haypost network was ensured, the fleet vehicle has expanded, as a result, the term of mail exchange was reduced 3 times, the digital transformation of postal services took place. Extensive work has been done to promote international cooperation, as a result of which tariffs for postal services to Russia, Europe and the United States have been significantly reduced.

For improving the quality of services, Haypost med, Haypost pay and other tools have been introduced.

Afterwards, reference was made to Haypost's capital investments, which will be aimed at the renovation of 486 post offices, the renewal of the fleet vehicle, and the completion of the digital transformation.

During the meeting, ideas were exchanged on the measures aimed at ensuring the continuous development of Haypost, a number of suggestions and observations were presented.

Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the policy of pursuing digital solutions, emphasizing that Haypost's task is to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the citizens through providing new services. According to the Prime Minister, Haypost should continue its efforts to engage in e-commerce, which will allow our citizens living in remote areas to make use of these services more easily, given the wide distribution of Haypost branches.

The Prime Minister instructed to evaluate the state services that will be possible to provide through Haypost, thus expanding its field of activity and contributing to the provision of better quality services in a shorter period of time.
