A telephone conversation took place between Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi. Prime Minister Pashinyan shared his impressions and information with President Raisi on the recent meeting in Brussels.
The interlocutors exchanged views, in particular, on the opening of regional communications, the start of delimitation of the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the prospects of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Issues related to the bilateral agenda were also discussed. Special attention was paid to the issues related to the construction of the Armenia-Iran third power transmission line and the North-South highway, as well as to the energy sector. The interlocutors reaffirmed the invitations to one another to pay an official visit and agreed to pay reciprocal visits to the capitals of the two countries.
