Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan together with the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan and Vice President of the National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan attended the event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the formation of Armenian Democratic Liberal Party-Ramgavar in the backyard of the National Assembly.

Prime Minister Pashinyan awarded Chairman of the Central Board of the Ramgavar Party Michael Kharapian with a Medal of Gratitude for his long-term patriotic activity.

The Prime Minister noted that the award is the Armenian authorities’ appreciation of the work done by the Ramgavar Party.

In his speech, the Prime Minister, in particular, said,

"Dear leaders and representatives of the Ramgavar Party,
I warmly congratulate you on the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Democratic Liberal Party-Ramgavar.

Through its centuries-long activity, the party has served our people and the Motherland, being one of the important organizations inspiring the Armenians, solving important national problems, promoting international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, organizing the immigration of Armenians, and solving other national problems.

Party members such as Vahan Tekeyan, Arshag Chobanian, Mihran Damadian and others deserve mentioning for their patriotic activities.

This traditional party has always played an important role in the processes of pan-Armenian significance, proving its viability by its history and the path it has passed.

Not only the activities and history of the Ramgavar Party deserve high praise, but also its role in the organization of political and public life in the Diaspora. In particular, the party's contribution to the preservation of the Armenian identity and the strengthening of Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora ties is invaluable.

The Government of the Republic of Armenia still feels Ramgavar Party’s support and assistance in solving the important problems facing the Armenian people and Armenia, preserving the national identity and language, strengthening ties with the Motherland, the development of Armenia and Artsakh and other issues.

We are interested in the development of the political activity of the party, which is the bearer of such traditions and values, which are aimed exclusively at strengthening the unity, freedom and statehood of our country and people.

Dear colleagues,

This anniversary is a good opportunity to value the past, to re-evaluate it, to find new ways for entering the development path.

Congratulating once again on the 100 years of the founding of the Ramgavar Party, I wish fruitful and productive party-building activities for the glory of our country, for the sake of the people of Armenia and all Armenians.
