Nikol Pashinyan reported on the performance report 2022 of the Prime Minister's Office

Today Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was presented with the performance report 2022 of the Prime Minister's Office.

Deputy Prime Ministers Mher Grigoryan and Tigran Khachatryan, Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, Head of the State Supervision Service Romanos Petrosyan, Deputy Chiefs of the Prime Minister's Staff, heads of the departments of the staff, other officials participated in the consultation.

Chief of the Prime Minister's Staff Arayik Harutyunyan and his deputies presented the works done in the reporting year.

It was reported about the sectoral activities carried out by the staff divisions. Information was presented on the development of draft decisions of the Prime Minister and the Government, supervision over the implementation of the decisions and instructions of the Prime Minister and the Government, the activities of ministerial committees, the volume of document circulation, cooperation with state agencies, the regulatory impact assessment, as well as the staffing of the Prime Minister's office, structural reforms.

It was noted that in 2022 about 7900 applications were received from citizens. In 2020-2022 that figure exceeded 20,000. It was reported about the consideration of applications, monitoring and evaluation of citizen feedback.

The activities carried out by the "Public Relations and Information Center" SNCO were presented, including the ongoing program "School of Government Speakers", within the framework of which 25 specialists were trained.

It was reported on the monitoring process of the strategic plans, as well as the work done on the issues of national minorities and the religion.

It was noted that the number of official vehicles was reduced to 40 in the reporting year. The process is continuous.

The Chief of the Prime Minister's Staff noted that in 2022 international events were organized and held at a high level in our country, including the European Boxing Championship, the "Junior Eurovision Song Contest", the 6th International Science and Art Festival "STARMUS". The construction process of "Park of Life" has started in Yerevan Botanical Garden. Preparations for the organization and holding of the European Weightlifting Championship to be held in Yerevan on April 10-23 were carried out in 2022 and continue at the moment.

Among the international cooperation programs, Arayik Harutyunyan referred to the 5th national program of "Open Government Partnership" initiative for 2022-2024. He noted that the program was developed in close cooperation with representatives of civil society, it consists of 10 commitments and supports the Armenian Government's 2021-2026 Action Plan and reforms in a number of directions.

The report was followed by an exchange of ideas, in the framework of which a discussion was held on the presented topics.

The Prime Minister emphasized the continuous evaluation capacity development of the impact of state programs, measures, decisions, strategies, the consistent introduction of digital tools in the work of the state administration system and the necessary technical equipment, which will allow to increase the efficiency of work.

The Head of the Government referred to the reforms of public administration, within the framework of which the issue of involving personnel with high professional qualifications in the staff should be considered. Nikol Pashinyan also instructed to keep the control over the quality and content of the execution of the Prime Minister's instructions in the center of attention.

Based on the results of the discussion, the Prime Minister gave specific instructions.
