Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, together with his wife Anna Hakobyan and daughter Arpi Pashinyan, met the participants of the team cross-country running tournament of schoolchildren "Prime Minister's Cup" in the Parz Lake area of Dilijan, Tavush Province.
Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, Deputy Minister Karen Giloyan, Governor of Tavush Hayk Ghalumyan were also present at the meeting.
The tournament will take place on the morning of May 20. The event will be attended by the best teams of the schools of the republic, which were recognized winners in the regional rounds. 12 teams, each consisting of 7 students (5 boys, 2 girls), will participate in the tournament, who will overcome the 5000 meter competition area.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister discussed with the participants questions related to the organization of the tournament, its format, the results of the preliminary stages held in the regions, and answered various questions.
The participants of the tournament and their coaches thanked the Prime Minister for such an initiative and added that it is of great interest among schoolchildren.
Nikol Pashinyan wished everyone success and urged them to continue playing sports, and the Government will make every effort to create the necessary conditions in the communities.
