Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hosted former Prime Minister of Italy, the former President of the European Commission Romano Prodi.

The Prime Minister welcomed the visit of the honourable figure to Armenia and congratulated him on receiving the title of honorary doctor of the YSU. Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the need for YSU cooperation with experienced figures like Mr. Prodi and added that today's meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss various issues of mutual interest.

Romano Prodi thanked for the warm hospitality and noted that is is a pleasure to visit Armenia.

At the meeting, the sides exchanged ideas on issues related to the processes taking place in the region and the international arena.
