Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the Apostolic Nuncio of the Holy See His Grace Archbishop José Avelino Bettencourt, who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country.

In order to contribute to the strengthening of the ties between Armenia and the Holy See, Archbishop Bettencourt handed to Prime Minister Pashinyan one of the highest honors of the Holy See, the Knights Grand Cross of the Order of Pope Pius IX, awarded by Pope Francis.

The Prime Minister thanked for the high appreciation and emphasized the interest of the government of the Republic of Armenia to consistently develop ties with the Holy See. Nikol Pashinyan wished Archbishop Bettencourt success in his future activities.
