The fifth session of the Investment Committee was held today, chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

During the session, the final reports on technical and economic feasibility studies of the public investment programs approved during the 2nd and 3rd sessions were presented. These are the programs of "Modernization of the Republican Scientific and Medical Library", "Establishment of the system of forecasting and early warning of dangerous hydrometeorological phenomena". The Committee members approved the programs based on final reports.

Next, the Committee members were presented with new projects related to the improvement of the road and transportation sector. As a result of the discussion, issues related to the solution to the problems presented in the projects and the proposed mechanisms were raised.

The Prime Minister instructed to consolidate a number of projects in order to increase the efficiency of capital investment programs and gave specific instructions to the responsible persons.
