Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Martin Chungong.

The Prime Minister emphasized cooperation with the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and noted that it is a good platform for developing the inter-parliamentary dialogue with partners from different countries. Nikol Pashinyan welcomed the holding of the IPU’s Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians in Yerevan, which is scheduled for September this year.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to security and stability in the South Caucasus. In that context, the Prime Minister referred to the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process, the possibilities of unblocking the regional infrastructures and emphasized the key approaches and principles of Armenia on these issues.

The sides exchanged ideas on other issues of mutual interest.
