Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a meeting with the Chairperson of the Sub-committee on Security and Defense in the European Parliament Nathalie Loiseau (Renew Europe, France).
Issues related to Armenia-European Union cooperation were discussed, where role of the EU legislative body was emphasized. In this context, reference was made to the prospects of deepening the partnership and the efforts made by both sides in that direction.
The sides exchanged ideas on the developments taking place in the South Caucasus. The Prime Minister spoke about the approaches of the Armenian side in overcoming the existing challenges.
Prime Minister Pashinyan attached importance to the principled approach of the European Parliament in difficult conditions for the Republic of Armenia and the documents adopted with clear assessments and messages.
Nathalie Loiseau thanked the Prime Minister for awarding her with the Medal of Gratitude of the Republic of Armenia and noted that she will continue her vigorous activities in the future for the benefit of Armenia and the friendly Armenian people.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan had presented the medal to Nathalie Loiseau recently for her significant contribution to the promotion of issues of key importance for Armenia and the protection of humanitarian values.
