Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the delegation headed by Georges Siffredi, Head of the Hauts-de-Seine Department Council of France.
The Prime Minister welcomed the visit of the delegation and emphasized the close decentralized cooperation between Armenia and France. According to Nikol Pashinyan, this cooperation once again emphasizes the special relations of our country with France. The Head of the Government emphasized the existing bilateral interest in this cooperation. At the same time, the Prime Minister highly appreciated the attitude of President Emmanuel Macron and, in general, France towards Armenia. "France is one of our primary partners, and we have a huge potential to deepen active cooperation," Nikol Pashinyan emphasized.
Georges Siffredi first expressed solidarity over the situation caused by floods in Lori and Tavush regions and added that France's Hauts-de-Seine region, having partnership relations with Tavush region, is ready to provide the latter with the necessary support. The Head of the Hauts-de-Seine Department council emphasized the development of cooperation with Tavush region in agriculture, agro-tourism, environment and other fields.
Prime Minister Pashinyan thanked for the willingness to provide support to Tavush region and, especially, emphasized the importance of cooperation in the direction of restoring infrastructure.
