Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the combat relay race held within the framework of the Army Games in Tavush region. The Army Games are being held for the second year in a row, which started on June 30.
The teams of the Defense, Internal Affairs, Justice Ministries, National Security Service, State Revenue, Investigative, Anti-Corruption Committees, Prosecutor's Office and State Protection Service participated in the competitions, in which female employees are also involved. In total, 18 teams participated in the games.
In the combat relay race, the team of the Military Academy of the Ministry of Defense took the first place, the team of the Third Army Corps of the Ministry of Defense took the second place, and the team of the Special Army Corps took the third place. In the general competition of army games, the teams of the Military Academy of the Ministry of Defense and the Third Army Corps of the Ministry of Defense took the first two places, and the team of the State Protection Service took the third place.
The Prime Minister thanked the contestants for participating in the Army Games and emphasized that physical training is an important component in any service. According to Nikol Pashinyan, these competitions are an additional opportunity to once again draw attention to healthy lifestyle.
The winners received certificates, medals and cash rewards.
