In Aragatsotn region, the Prime Minister familiarized himself with the works carried out in 2023 and the progress of ongoing projects

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited Aragatsotn region, got acquainted with the works carried out in 2023 and the ongoing programs.

Nikol Pashinyan's first stop was in Ashtarak community. Under the subsidy program, 22.4 km of asphalting works were carried out in 25 settlements of the community. The total cost of the project is 2 billion 142.5 million AMD, of which the Government allocated 749.8 million AMD.

In Ashtarak, the Prime Minister also visited the newly built playground. In total, 4 playgrounds were built in Ashtarak and Bazmaghbyur settlements. The cost of the project is 267.3 million AMD, of which 93.5 million AMD was allocated by the Government.

Next, the streets paved with tuff stone were presented to the Prime Minister in Ashtarak. Similar works have also been carried out in Avan, Byurakan, Lernarot, Voskevaz, Verin Sasunik and Ujan settlements of the community. The cost of the project is 265 million 920 thousand AMD, of which the Government allocated 132.9 million AMD. The total length of paved streets will be 2.5 km.

The next stop of the head of government was in Sasunik, where a secondary school is being built within the framework of the Seismic Safety Improvement Program, co-financed by the Asian Development Bank and the Armenian Government. The total cost of the project is 2 billion 350 million AMD. The two-story school is designed for 432 students. Construction works will be completed in 2025.

Then, Nikol Pashinyan got acquainted with the reconstruction works of Ashtarak Medical Center. The project is financed from the state budget, the cost is 1 billion 289 million AMD. As a result of the implementation of the project, a reconstructed and equipped hospital will be commissioned. The works will be completed in 2025.

The Head of the Government was presented with the progress of the major repair works of the 3.9 km section of the M-3 interstate highway. The Government allocated 1 billion 798 million AMD for the project. The work will be completed soon.

In Aparan community, Shenavan settlement, the Prime Minister got acquainted with the construction of a new kindergarten under the subsidy program. The cost of the project is 282.9 million AMD, of which 198 million AMD were allocated by the Government. The kindergarten is designed for 60 children. 85% of the construction works have already been completed.

The asphalting works of intra-community roads in several settlements were presented to the Head of Government. The cost of the project is 772 million AMD, of which 386 million AMD was provided by the government. 9.7 km long asphalting works are being carried out in the streets of Aparan city and yard areas of residential buildings and in 19 rural settlements of Aparan community under the program.

Among the road construction projects, Nikol Pashinyan was also presented with the major repair works of the 3 km section of the T-1-44,/M-3/ Aparan-Lusagyugh road. The cost of the project is 892.5 million AMD. The works are in progress, completion is planned soon. The above-mentioned road will reach Khankavan in the future.

In Rya-Taza settlement of Alagyaz community, the Prime Minister interacted with the locals and got acquainted with the milk procurement process. Nikol Pashinyan noted that almost every year there are problems related to the price of milk procurement. According to the Prime Minister, the solution is the transition to a "smart cattle farm", in which the human hand does not touch the production chain, which immediately affects the price. The head of the government emphasized that the advantage and effectiveness of the above program is obvious.

The Prime Minister also visited the renovated 3.8 km section of the /M-3/ - Lernapar road. The cost of the project is 537.8 million AMD.

Within the framework of the regional visit, the Prime Minister's next stop was at the Alagyaz modular kindergarten, the construction of which is financed by the state budget. The Government allocated 863 million AMD for the project. It is planned to build a kindergarten with a capacity of 144 places. The supporting frame of the structure is metal, the foundations are made of reinforced concrete, strip. The building of the kindergarten is one-story. It will be commissioned this year.

In Alagyaz, the head of the government also got acquainted with the progress of construction of the community center. The total cost of the Social Investments and Local Development Project, co-financed by the Armenian Government and the World Bank, is 348.1 million AMD. The amount of investment by the community is 4% or 13.9 million AMD. A one-story community center is being built, which will be divided into three sections according to its functional specificity. Structurally, the building will also consist of three parts: entrance, hall and kitchen. The works started in 2023. It's planned to be completed this year. The sports school named after wrestlers Roman and Malkhas Amoyans is also under construction in Alagiaz, while the design works of the public school are in progress.

Asphalting works of intra-community streets were carried out in Shamiram community. The cost of the project is 32.8 million AMD, of which 11.5 million AMD was allocated by the Government. The Prime Minister also talked to the residents of Shamiram.

The construction works of the 34 km section of the M1 Yerevan-Gyumri-Bavra highway implemented within the framework of the North-South Road Corridor Investment Program (Tranche 2) were presented to the Prime Minister. The cost of the project is 75.9 million USD. Completion of the works is scheduled for 2025.

In Metsadzor enlarged community, Nikol Pashinyan got acquainted with the construction of the internal drinking water network of Metsadzor and Otevan settlements. The cost of the project is 10.2 million AMD, of which 8.1 million AMD was provided by the Government. As a result of the implementation of the project, a 500 m drinking water line was built in the Metsadzor settlement, and a 600 m water line was built in Otevan.

In Metsadzor and Otevan settlements, intra-community street paving works were also carried out. The cost of the project is 34.3 million AMD, of which 25.7 million AMD was allocated by the Government.

The head of the government then got acquainted with the construction works of the gymnasium of Talin High School and the created conditions. It was noted that the program is financed by the state budget, the cost is 189.2 million AMD.

The Prime Minister also visited the Arevut enlarged community, where within the framework of the Social Investment and Local Development Program, 1 unit of multi-functional excavator, 1 unit of hydraulic hammer, 1 unit of small bucket was provided to the community in order to improve the utility services of the community. The cost of the project is 28.3 million AMD.

Next, the Prime Minister familiarized himself with the progress of the major repair works of the 12.1 km section of the T-1-63,/H-81/ (Tatul) – Kanch – Hako road. The cost of the project is AMD 1 billion 337.4 million. Completion of the works is scheduled for the current year.

Within the framework of the Government's project to improve the building conditions of educational facilities, the repair works of the banquet hall of secondary school No. 1 of Arteni were presented to the Prime Minister. The cost of the project is 9.8 million AMD. For the complete furnishing of the hall, property worth 5.5 million AMD was purchased with the resources of the school. As a result of the implementation of the project, the school hall was completely renovated. Here, Prime Minister Pashinyan was also presented the repair and reconstruction works of schools in Aragatsatn region in 2023.

Nikol Pashinyan also visited secondary school No. 1 in Aragatsavan and got acquainted with the construction works. The cost of building the school for 432 students is 2 billion 327.3 million AMD. The project is implemented with the co-financing of the Armenian government and the Asian Development Bank. The completion of construction works is planned for 2025.

The Prime Minister's last stop was in the intensive gardens of Aragatsavan, which were created thanks to the state subsidized agricultural loans. Accordingly, a 100-hectare pear orchard was created by the "Caucasus Agro" company, for which 1 billion 490 million AMD agricultural loans were provided with an interest rate of 13.5%, of which 9.5% is subsidized by the state. A 100-hectare pear orchard was created by the "Fan Fruit" company, for which an agricultural loan of 1 billion 980 million AMD was provided at a rate of 13.5%, of which 9.5% is subsidized by the state. An agricultural loan of 1 billion 500 million AMD was provided for the establishment of an 82-hectare peach orchard at a rate of 14%, which is fully subsidized by the state.
