The Prime Minister chairs discussion on the state budget performance report on the first half of 2024

A consultation was held in the Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during which the report on the performance of the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for the first half of 2024 was presented.
The Ministry of Finance presented the program indicators of the state budget for the reporting period, current main results, as well as state budget revenues and capital expenditure performance for the first half of the year.
Reference was made to factors contributing to economic activity, tax revenues, export and import rates.
Next, the proposed bills regarding allocations and redistributions from the reserve fund of the state budget were discussed, and various observations and recommendations were made.
Referring to the implementation of the state budget revenues as well as capital expenditures, Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the timely and proper implementation of programs.
The Head of the Government also emphasized the need for effective implementation of tax and customs administration and noted that consistent steps should be continued in that direction.
