A regular Cabinet meeting took place today, chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The government approved the programs to promote livestock breeding in the Republic of Armenia. The adoption of the draft decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia "On approving the programs for the promotion of livestock breeding in the Republic of Armenia" is due to the need to provide state support in order to promote the development of various branches of livestock breeding in the Republic.

According to the Government decision, additions were made to the annex defined by the decision N 922-N of the government of the Republic of Armenia of June 8, 2023 "On establishing the simplified procedure for registration of natural persons who are not individual entrepreneurs in the tax authority". The decision stipulates that in the case of providing passenger transportation services through electronic platforms, physical persons providing passenger transportation services are registered in the tax authority, based on the information submitted to the tax authority by persons providing passenger transportation services using electronic platforms.

The Government approved the legislative initiative of the Government of the Republic of Armenia regarding the bill "On Amendments to the Law on Public Council". With the adoption of the decision, it is expected to guarantee the formation and implementation of the fact-finding commission by the Public Council in the form of the Fact-Finding Commission, through which it will be possible to refer to the events that happened in the past and take measures to protect the violated rights of individuals.

The Government made a decision due to the need to finance the work already done by the organizations of the health system, which will ensure an increase in the level of access to free medical care and maintenance services guaranteed by the state. According to the Government's decision, the purpose of the presented amendments is the full fulfillment of the obligations arising from the provided and projected medical care and maintenance services, as well as ensuring the access and availability of medical care and maintenance services guaranteed by the state to the beneficiaries under free and preferential conditions, and ensuring continuity of compensation for the services provided within the framework of the state budget measures, the management of the current debts of financing for the works performed by the medical institutions as a result of the application of the principle of the unlimited budget.
