Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the ceremony of presenting and handing over the tourism and investment guideline of Armenia in Yerevan. It was developed in cooperation with the Tourism Committee of the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, the Investment Support Center and the World Tourism Organization.

Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan, Secretary General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization Zurab Pololikashvili, members of the Government, members of the Parliament, representatives of the tourism sector were present at the event.

In his speech, the Prime Minister thanked the UN World Tourism Organization for issuing the investment guideline and noted that it will contribute to the development of tourism in Armenia. According to Nikol Pashinyan, tourism is an expression of well-being and a source of well-being, because those who have this opportunity prefer to spend more and more money on travel. "I think that it is the right choice of a modern person, because it is also very important, and we also need to talk about our ideas, what the spending priorities for a person are, because in the case of the Government, we discuss it, and it is necessary to discuss also in the case of an individual. In my opinion, one of those priorities is, of course, education, which is fundamental, as well as tourism, with the logic that it has a very important, including a cultural component," said the Prime Minister.

According to the Head of the Government, an active life helps to spend less on health. According to the Prime Minister, these are the directions that should be encouraged, also introduce or offer them for our generations through education. According to Nikol Pashinyan, it is important that tourism in Armenia today already creates many jobs and gives an opportunity to express business skills. "We emphasize that we have proper development and support programs in the field, which are based on proper content and strategies. I think that tourism is also important in terms of global stability," said the Prime Minister.

According to Nikol Pashinyan, Armenia is not a big country, but when you start traveling, it turns out that there are such exceptional places in Armenia. "tourism is also important in terms of getting to know one's own country and the globe."

"Of course, tourism is perhaps the most converging sphere of economy and human relations, it is a broad opportunity to relate to countries, persons, peoples, traditions and, ultimately, common roots. We are sure that this release, which was carried out by our partners in cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Armenia, will give a new impetus to the development of the sector. This is the case when we discuss various investment programs, we will have an internationally validated document in the field of tourism, which will be an additional argument for us to substantiate that there are proper investment conditions and directions in Armenia, particularly in the field of tourism, to invest, develop, become rich and enrich", Nikol Pashinyan said, expressing his belief that this joint investment will give a new additional boost to the developments and investments in the field of tourism, which are still noticeable in Armenia today.

Next, Secretary General of the United Nations World Tourism Organization Zurab Pololikashvili handed over the tourism and investment guideline of Armenia to Prime Minister Pashinyan.
